Dymov, Ossip (Perelmann, Joseph)
(1878-1959)
   Russian Yiddish author and playwright. He was born in Bialystok. He first wrote fiction in Russian, blending symbolism, irony and wit. His plays deal with Jewish suffering and experience. After he emigrated to the US he wrote for the Yiddish theatre.
